ORLANDO (August 10, 2016) – Food lovers rejoice! September is Magical Dining Month, where Orlando restaurants will offer prix fixe dinners with an appetizer, entrée and dessert for an exceptional value of $33. A special preview week begins August 29 and continues through October 2. Now in its 11th year, Magical Dining is a timely opportunity to enjoy Rosen Hotels & Resorts® fine dining restaurants. One dollar from each meal will be donated to The Russell Home for atypical children.
Rosen Hotels & Resorts® is proud to have four of its fine dining establishments participating this year. Whether you are celebrating a special occasion, or just need an excuse to head out for a night on the town, an evening at a Rosen Hotels restaurant is magical indeed. The executive chefs and their teams at each restaurant have gone to great lengths to prepare special menus, showcasing the skill, creativity and signature flavors that make each venue unique. If you have not had the opportunity to visit the following restaurants, here’s just a taste of what you will find.
AAA Four Diamond A Land Remembered, Rosen Shingle Creek®
This opulent creek-side restaurant is the perfect backdrop for a romantic evening, from the warm rich décor to the elegant lighting. The Magical Dining menu offers four choices of appetizers, entrees and desserts, each prepared with the freshest ingredients and presented with impeccable service. Start the evening off with a Boca Grande Crab Cake with Scallion Aioli and Red Chili Pepper glaze, or Grilled Hearts of Romaine with warm Goat Cheese. A few of the main courses include Florida fresh catch of the day, and an exquisitely prepared Filet Mignon with Herb Butter using herbs from the restaurant’s on-site organic herb garden. Linger over a glass of wine before moving on to dessert, which is prepared under careful supervision of world renowned Executive Pastry Chef and Chocolatier David Ramirez. Savor a slice of Chocolate Mousse Cake with Raspberry Ganache, or perhaps the Warm Bread Pudding with Rum Raisin Ice Cream. Take an after dinner stroll around the hotel and enjoy the nature trails and lush scenery to complete a truly magical evening. Visit alandrememberedrestaurant.com or call 407-996-FOOD.
AAA Four Diamond Cala Bella, Rosen Shingle Creek®
You’ll feel transported to Tuscany at Cala Bella, surrounded by stunning Italian artwork, soaring vaulted ceilings and arched entryways. Relax with a glass of bubbly and drink in the view of the evening sky over the hotel’s pool deck and golf course as you peruse the classic Italian and Mediterranean dishes on the Magical Dining Menu. Start with crispy Calamari Fritti in a spicy Peppadew Coulis followed by a traditional Chicken Parmesan, or perhaps enjoy a Roasted Beet Salad with organic baby greens and Blood Orange Vinaigrette followed by a succulent Grilled Tuscan Ribeye. The open kitchen allows diners a peek into the action, including the two-sided hydroponic garden that hangs over the prep station. This edible wall art allows the chef to pluck tender greens moments before serving for the ultimate in freshness. Top off the evening with an espresso and Tiramisu or Cappuccino Crème Brȗlee. Everglades Restaurant, Rosen Centre®
At the Rosen Centre® Hotel, the Everglades Restaurant offers fine dining in a fun atmosphere that celebrates the flavors of Florida and pays homage to the world’s largest tropical wetlands. Diners are surrounded by flora and fauna in the décor, which creates a unique ambiance. Daily supplies of fresh Florida native fish, along with select prime cuts of meat are carefully and creatively prepared with bright flavors and Southern accents such as fried green tomatoes and watermelon. The Magical Dining menu features several starters that Everglades is famous for, such as the Alligator Bay Chowder developed by Head Chef Fred Vlachos, and the George Barley salad that pays tribute to the late Everglades conservationist and features Florida Rock Shrimp Tempura, croutons, mixed greens and grilled pineapple. There are entrée choices for meat and seafood-lovers, and a wine list that offers sustainable organic wine choices in keeping with Rosen’s commitment to the environment. Can’t decide between Key Lime Pie and Double Chocolate Fudge Overload for dessert? Have both with a duo of dessert shots, a few bites of brilliant decadence to end the evening. This venue is sure to be a sell-out during Magical Dining Month, since guests who dine on Friday and Saturday nights will receive a complimentary caricature done by a local artist in addition to a fabulous meal. Start the evening off with a salad or Spicy Shrimp and Grits, followed by an expertly prepared Filet Mignon or Florida Gulf Coast Red Snapper served with basil garlic pappardelle pasta.
