Howl-O-Scream is an annual Halloween event that originated at Busch Gardens in Tampa, Florida. In 2021, the popular attraction came to SeaWorld Orlando for the first time. This year, it is back and even scarier than before. The frights happen on select nights from Friday, September 9 through Monday, October 31, 2022.

Frightful Haunted Houses
Once you enter an immersive Howl-O-Scream haunted house, the only way out is through. But be careful — there could always be something lurking around the corner or crawling out from under the depths. So far, SeaWorld has announced one haunted house theme:

Your ship has come in. Try to escape this doomed pirate vessel before you become part of its cursed crew.
Scare Zones
At Howl-O-Scream, there are frights at every turn. If you find yourself in a scare zone, keep close watch of what is going on behind your back. If you don’t, someone — or something — might give you the scare of your life. Announced 2022 scare zones include:
Cut Throat Cove
The restless spirits of shipwrecked pirates wander the dark depths of this ghastly new scare zone in search of souls to pull into their watery grave.
Thrilling Night Coasters
If you think your favorite SeaWorld Orlando coaster is thrilling during the day, then dare to ride it during the dead of night. During Howl-O-Scream, all your favorite SeaWorld Orlando coasters will be open to ride after dark.
Themed Bar Experiences
In between the frights and thrills, visit the pirate-themed Longshoremen Tavern. Quench your thirst with a selection of crafty brews and bloody cocktails.
