Halloween Horror Nights 2024 at Universal Orlando

Fall is quickly approaching, and with the influx of pumpkins and flannel comes an onslaught of scares, horror and gore.

Terror reigns again at Universal Orlando on select nights from August 30 to November 3, 2024, as they host the annual Halloween Horror Nights (HHN) event.

Here’s what we know so far about HHN 2024.

2024 Halloween Horror Nights Haunted Houses

The main draw at Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights are its spectacular haunted houses. In these themed attractions, the best horror franchises are brought to life for brave guests to navigate — if they dare. Here are Universal’s 10 Haunted Houses for 2024.

A Quiet Place

You’ll need to stay deadly silent to survive the post-apocalyptic world inspired by the A Quiet Place film series. You’ll make your way from the farmhouse through the woods and to the foundry. Even the slightest noise will draw the attention of the monstrous creatures who are on the hunt to silence you for good.

Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire

Inspired by the film “Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire,” this bone-chilling haunted house teams you up with the Ghostbusters to save the world from a second ice age. Garraka, a new evil specter, will have you dodging spears of ice and full-body freezes as he tries to stop you cold.

Insidious: The Further

The Red-Faced Demon is waiting to lure you into his lair. Travel into a new dimension haunted by tortured souls, demonic entities, and other evil paranormal creatures that lurk behind the iconic red door. You’ll travel into the depths of a dark and timeless astral world as you try to escape sinister beings before your soul gets trapped…forever.

Universal Monsters: Eternal Bloodlines

With the announcement of Epic Universe’s Dark Universe earlier this year, classic monsters are on everyone’s mind. This house features Universal’s most famous female monsters, including The Bride of Frankenstein, Dracula’s Daughter, She-Wolf of London, and the mummified Egyptian princess Anck-Su-Namun. Will you be amongst the hunters – or the hunted?

Monstruous: The Monsters of Latin America

This assortment of Latin American monsters will have you begging for mercy. Your guide, La Muerte, will have you dodging evil creatures like the blood-sucking Tlahuelpuchi, the bone-ripping El Silbón, and owl-faced witch La Lechuza.

Slaughter Sinema 2

Gory horror-film lovers will simply die for the Slaughter Sinema 2 experience. You’ll scream your way through B-movie horror scenes from classic creature features, grindhouse gore, and spaghetti westerns.

The Museum: Deadly Exhibits

A creepy museum exhibit is spooky on a good day, but the new folklore exhibit, The Rotting Stone, is downright haunted. When an evil escapes from within the museum, you’ll need to find your way out before it’s too late.

Major Sweets Candy Factory

This isn’t your average candy factory. You’ll chaperone a field trip that turns sour when “free samples transform the kids into candy-coated killers wielding sharpened candies.”

Goblin’s Feast

Bloodthirsty goblins are on the prowl. You’ll be transported to a goblin village where you’ll encounter orcs, hobgolins, and witches who just can’t wait to have you for dinner.

Triplets of Terror

The Barmy Triplets are celebrating their birthday with a bash, but their idea of a good time is recreating their family’s gory murders. Prepare for a birthday party like you’ve never seen before.

Other Spooky Attractions at Halloween Horror Nights

The haunted houses aren’t the only frights at Halloween Horror Nights.

Five areas of the park are rethemed into scare zones, filled with actors ready to give guests a thrill. 2024’s Scare Zones include Torture Faire, with its fair share (pun intended) of medieval torture devices. There’s also Swamp of the Undead, where you can wade through the backwaters of Louisiana and escape zombies emerging from a nearby bog.

If you need a breather, sit down and relax at one of the event’s live shows filled with stunts and spectacle. You can also enjoy themed food and drink while you wait to ride a classic Universal roller coaster or visit other attractions.
